Issues of using internet for gossip.
Recently the entertainment world`s were become more popular. Wherever we go, people will talk about entertainment. This phenomenon was being spread by gossiping. From the context of Wikipedia, gossip is idle talk or rumor, especially about the personal or private affairs of others. It forms one of the oldest and most common means of sharing (unproven) facts and views, but also has a reputation for the introduction of errors and other variations into the information transmitted. The term also carries implications that the news so transmitted (usually) has a personal or trivial nature, as opposed to normal conversation.
Nowadays the issues of using internet for gossip are common by people. They using internet as a medium to spread gossip. There are many negative impacts on the issues of using internet for gossip.
Firstly, using internet for gossip is not good in the Islamic view. The information that we get from gossiping is not certainly 100% correct because people tend to create or adding something else in the information they know. Moreover in Islam, we are encouraging about the truth information, no lies and addition on that. Gossips are not a good example for the youth today. They can easily forget their study because of focuses on the gossip through the internet.
Next, the use of internet for gossip can also harm the people who were on target through this gossip. They can be hurt mentally, and the harm thing is wasting time because gossip is not important, we can ignore it. But people like to waste their time on such a not accurate thing for hours.
There are many well and healthy things that we can do other than gossip. We must use our internet for good thing not gossiping. People should realize the harm thing that they can get by using internet for gossip. Remember, gossip is all about the fake things…..
