Nowadays, when we talk about internet, the first thing that comes to our minds is internet is the fastest and most advanced technology that enable us to have access to unlimited amount of knowledge. Through internet we can enlightened ourselves with current issues from all around the world such as wars, recession and many more.
First of all, there are a lot of ways which internet can be used as entertainment, for example we can even play online games to prevent us from getting bored. Now I wanna stressed on online games. These kind of games are getting more and more popular over the years. Teenagers and children are not the only ones who are hooked with online games, even adults are obsessed with them. From Wikipedia, online game can be defined as a game played over some forms of computer network. There are a lot of types of online games that can be found on the net and this link is one where many online games can be played http://www.kongregate.com/.
Admit that, there is more cons than pros when talking about online gaming. For the gamers, they do admit that when they start to playing, they find that they had a hard time to stop playing although they had played that game all day long. It will cause a lot of problems when students skip school so that they can go to the cyber cafe instead and continue the games that they had left off the day before or to start on a new game. Not only will they waste valuable times, they will also waste a lot of money which might in turn make them resort to stealing money just so they can afford to use computers at the cyber cafe.
Moreover, it's quite hazardous for our health if we use computers for long periods as stated in 'Computer Are Your Future 2006', written by Bill Daley. We can prevent this from happening by knowing the 'Ergonomic', which means that the product matches the best picture and functionality of the human body that includes special keyboards which can prevent carpal tunnel syndrome and chairs that can help improve our posture. Also, computer screen have a high degree of radiation that may cause us to eyesight problem. The efficient way to prevent this is that we should rest our eyes for about 15 minutes when using the computer by looking at the green environment or by using anti-glare screens on computer monitors. As for the Muslims, they maybe too absorbed in the game world that they will eventually become careless in performing their prayers.

The Impact Of Using Internet On Moral
Using internet for entertainment can bring positive and negative impact to teenagers. One of the negative impact is moral issues. There are lots of evidence that shows teenagers react immorally when they surf the internet for entertainment.
Teenagers sometimes do not have a clue what they have learn from surfing internet. Some entertainment site like music or video blind their eyes with good music and funny video. But the truth is, the lyrics and the words they use are inappropriate. Teenagers think that the words they learn or hear in music or video are new trends of how to talk to their friends and parents. This cause them to behave immorally by talking rudely, especially with their parents and other elderly. Talking with rude words like bullshit and stupid have become a usual way of talking with their friends, and sometimes they use these words in chatting room.
Vandalism is also part of the effect of using internet for entertainment. This is because by watching some video like in youtube, teenagers might watch videos which shows vandelism act, and this can give an impact to their moral behaviour. Video that have been post to youtube, usually is post by teenagers, showing what they love to do in their daily life. Some video contain vandelism act like bullying and destroying public facilities. This kind of video is entertainment for teenagers. This is why some teenagers get influence by the video and behave immorally outside their home. Teenagers will normally imitate activities or role from what they observe in the internet especially if it is carried out by their favourite artist.
Using internet for entertainment also brings positive impact such as, it give opportunity to teenagers to learn new thing and sharpen their mind by playing various type of online games that is educational like bookworm, puzzle and solitare. They also can find new release song from their favourite artist by surfing internet. Internet have their own positive and negative side of using it, but it depends on ourself how we control our behaviour in learning new thing from the internet. Parents can also play their role by having parental control in their computer so their children will not surf something that is not appropriate especially in entertainment site.
The Advantages & Disadvantages Of Uploading Or Downloading Music
Internet is the medium for the users to upload and download any kinds of music no matter what genre, latest songs in chart or even evergreen songs. As time goes by, we prefer to download songs from the internet rather than to buy a music CD in stores. Apparently, advancement in IT especially internet makes our life easier and convenient but yet there are advantages and disadvantages of downloading or uploading songs from the internet.
The most common software to download songs is Limewire and Ares. According to Wikipedia, Limewire is a free peer to- peer file sharing (P2P).It offers a freeware version and also a purchasable version. We just need to download this software in our computer and we are ready to download our favourite songs for free. But as we all know, indeed downloading is very popular but if we download it for free we will violating a copyright laws as it is considered as piracy.
The disadvantages are overweighing the advantages. If we download songs from the internet we will encounter with virus problem because most of the times viruses are downloaded along with song. It also can hurt computer’s security because our computer can become a server and the most dangerous of downloading is companies can place tracking software onto our computer. Besides that, we might get sued by some associations who fill a lawsuit against people who download music.
But there are advantages too. We can download songs legally in certain websites for example www.pressplay.com and www.listen.com and the most popular website is www.apple.com/itunes. We just need to pay the fees and we can download unlimited songs. The advantage of downloading songs from the internet is we can download it at any time we want. We may only have to pay for the songs we want and we don’t have to pay for the whole CD just to get one track. Therefore, as I said earlier it makes our life more convenient.

Internet + Entertainment = Gossip
Issues of using internet for gossip.
Recently the entertainment world`s were become more popular. Wherever we go, people will talk about entertainment. This phenomenon was being spread by gossiping. From the context of Wikipedia, gossip is idle talk or rumor, especially about the personal or private affairs of others. It forms one of the oldest and most common means of sharing (unproven) facts and views, but also has a reputation for the introduction of errors and other variations into the information transmitted. The term also carries implications that the news so transmitted (usually) has a personal or trivial nature, as opposed to normal conversation.
Nowadays the issues of using internet for gossip are common by people. They using internet as a medium to spread gossip. There are many negative impacts on the issues of using internet for gossip.
Firstly, using internet for gossip is not good in the Islamic view. The information that we get from gossiping is not certainly 100% correct because people tend to create or adding something else in the information they know. Moreover in Islam, we are encouraging about the truth information, no lies and addition on that. Gossips are not a good example for the youth today. They can easily forget their study because of focuses on the gossip through the internet.
Next, the use of internet for gossip can also harm the people who were on target through this gossip. They can be hurt mentally, and the harm thing is wasting time because gossip is not important, we can ignore it. But people like to waste their time on such a not accurate thing for hours.
There are many well and healthy things that we can do other than gossip. We must use our internet for good thing not gossiping. People should realize the harm thing that they can get by using internet for gossip. Remember, gossip is all about the fake things…..
